To facilitate efficient and accurate transfer of information between its central server, mirror servers, and deliverable workspaces, NetSPEX uses industry-standard XML.

NetSPEX Designer will automatically access a local cache of XML data in order to minimize hits on the standards database, reduce network traffic, and boost software performance. The result is a seamless and efficient transfer of up-to-date standards information directly from the database to the local CAD workstation. In the case of remote offices with remote mirror servers, this transfer occurs through the mirror server to the local CAD workstation.

XML cache updates are intelligent, which ensures that only the changes that are made on the central database server will be updated in the local cache.
