| Product Overview
SiteMenu is an interface
development toolkit used to deploy CAD standards and design
automation in MicroStation and AutoCAD.
SiteMenu contains three primary customizable interface components:
menu bars, command spreadsheet
dialogs, and an integrated
browser – all designed to conserve screen space
while enforcing CAD standards. SiteMenu is used to run commands;
set drawing attributes such as layer, color, style, and
weight; load symbols (blocks and cells); launch macros,
MDLs, ARX, and AutoLISP applications; and link to custom
user documentation.

Advantages
- Uniform standards interface for MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Menu components can be layered from multiple network
folders
- Interface content is maintained in easily editable
ASCII text files
- Allows concurrent editing for live, site-wide CAD standard
updates
- Uses less screen space than conventional dialogs and
menu bars
- Instant, on-demand activation of commands and resources
- Windows desktop positioning for optimum screen utilization
SiteMenu provides a highly customizable,
simple and unobtrusive CAD standards interface. Menu content
is managed from ASCII text files – offering a secure,
modular, version-independent development platform that requires
no programming. The power of SiteMenu lies in the versatility
and simplicity of its interface components, resulting in
maximum CAD standards compliance. Users are more productive
because design automation is easier to access, while drawings
are higher quality because computer-aided design standards
can be implemented company-wide.
SiteMenu is used by the Federal Aviation
Administration, United States Army Corps of Engineers, Florida
Department of Transportation, HDR, Michael Baker Corporation,
and hundreds of government agencies and AE firms worldwide.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has posted
portions of the A/E/C CADD Standard in SiteMenu format on
their web site for free download. For more information,
