ProSoft offers several products
and services designed to help CAD Managers and
users work more efficiently with CAD standards.
NetSPEX
NetSPEX
is an enterprise-wide CAD standards management system
that runs seamlessly in both MicroStation
and AutoCAD. It provides a database-driven,
web-enabled design environment for CAD standards enforcement
and project collaboration among local, remote, and external
design teams. NetSPEX makes it possible to develop, manage,
deploy, and verify multiple CAD standards from a single
database, including parent and dependent standards.
NetSPEX includes the complete A/E/C CADD Standard, developed
by the U.S. Army Corps CADD/GIS Technology Center, as
well as the ability to create and customize unlimited
additional standards. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers CADD/GIS Technology
Center developed the A/E/C CADD Standard in order to reduce redundant CAD standardization efforts among its federal partners. The standard is part of an initiative to consolidate existing CAD drafting standards into a format generic enough to operate under various CAD software packages, such as MicroStation and AutoCAD, and to incorporate existing industry and national standards. NetSPEX includes the complete A/E/C CADD Standard - with 14 predefined disciplines, 120 drawing types, hundreds of layer definitions, drawing components, and CAD resources.
NetSPEX includes CAD standards
compliance checking and a unique ability to deliver
XML-based CAD standards for MicroStation and AutoCAD to
sub-consultants and remote project participants. Modules
include NetSPEX Server, NetSPEX Administrator,
NetSPEX Designer, NetSPEX Compliance Checker,
and NetSPEX Compliance Reader.
SiteMenu
SiteMenu
is an interface development toolkit used to deploy CAD
standards and design automation in MicroStation
and AutoCAD. SiteMenu offers customizable
menu bars, a command spreadsheet dialog,
and an integrated browser – each designed
to conserve screen space while enforcing CAD standards.
SiteMenu is used to run commands; set drawing attributes
such as layer, color, line style, and weight; load symbols
(blocks and cells) and settings; launch macros, MDLs,
ARX, and AutoLISP applications; and link to custom
user documentation.
